Wesley Medical Center-Lactation Department
Wesley has lactation consultants on staff Mon-Sat and would be happy to address breastfeeding question over the phone and assess the need for an outpatient appointment. Their phone number is 962-8597.Via Christi- Lactation Department
Via Christi has lactation services 7 days a week, their lactation consultants are happy to help address questions over the phone. They also have an outpatient clinic located at 1156 South Clifton. The Walk-In Breastfeeding Clinic is open M-F 10-2, it is free of charge for mother who delivered in the VC system. It is a one time fee of $50 for mother who have delivered at another hospital. La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns. They also have meetings and conferences you can attend.
